Welcome! International students pay resident tuition rates!

Kenai Peninsula College is a great place for international students to study!  As part of the University of Alaska system, KPC is committed to global awareness and embraces international diversity. We are committed to making your international experience memorable.

KPC has two campuses on the Kenai Peninsula: the Kenai River Campus in Soldotna, and the Kachemak Bay Campus in Homer.  Off-campus housing with local accommodation businesses is available for each campus. 

Degree and Certificate Programs

Begin your international educational experience at KPC by choosing which degree or certificate program you would like to apply for. The following programs are available to international students:

Application Deadlines

To ensure adequate processing time, international students must submit their completed application with the appropriate fee payment by the following deadlines:

Semester Deadline Deadline for all Required Documentation 
Fall Semester (August-December) June 15 We must receive all required documentation by July 15
 Spring Semester (January-May) November 1  We must receive all required documentation by November 20

  International students will not be admitted for the summer semester.

Start the application process well in advance of these deadlines in order to have time to:

  • Obtain the I-20
  • Interview at the embassy.
  • Acquire the visa
