Communication

Communication is the key to free expression in a global society.

Overview

Students can complete the UAA Communication Major or Minor online from the Kenai Peninsula. 

Communication alumni are well-poised to serve the many diverse communities that exist within Alaska (e.g., Rural and Native communities, large urban communities) and beyond. Upon graduation, students with a B.A. in Communication have the opportunity to work in non-profit, for-profit, educational, and/or government positions that can positively impact and empower their communities. 

Students have the opportunity to complete coursework in Workplace and Organizational Communication, Health Communication, Intercultural Communication, Interpersonal and Family Communication, Group Communication, Leadership, and more.
