Natural Sciences

As the Earth evolves, unprecedented change from many sources, natural and human-caused, is happening. Understanding their nature and consequences are central to maintaining a healthy environment into the future.

Overview

If you're seeking the broadest understanding of the natural and physical sciences, this is the degree for you. The natural science degree is a liberal studies program designed to provide deep knowledge of the sciences.

The study of natural sciences can lead graduates into many different disciplines, including health professions, environmental sciences, teaching, as well as preparation for graduate and professional degrees, or for careers in government or industry.

KPC does not offer a degree in natural science, but students are able to complete many courses that lead to near completion of this UAA bachelor of science degree. Be sure to work closely with an advisor to ensure staying on track to be prepared to transfer into a four-year program in the most efficient manner possible.
