Marine Mammal Biology Occupational Endorsement Certificate

Overview

Explore Alaska and gain an edge over the competition with a fast-track career certificate in Marine Mammal Biology at KPC's Kachemak Bay Campus in Homer, Alaska. This Occupational Endorsement Certificate is designed for upper division undergraduate or recently graduated baccalaureate students to take Alaska-specific biology courses that can lead to jobs in related career fields. 


Students will receive vital education and experiential training required in the local workforce sectors to become technicians, biologists and marine mammal observers (for fisheries, oil/gas exploration, etc.). Through their internships they will be connected with biological organizations in need of employees, meeting the needs of local employers in the short-term and beyond.
